Is it appropriate to have local election prior to the promulgation of the new constitution? Holding local elections prior to the promulgation of the new constitution within the framework of 75 districts, 14 Zones and 5 Development Regions is nothing but to revive the same constitution of 1990 (2047) with a minor change of the constitutional monarch replaced by the president. In my view, local elections should be held as per the provisions made in the new constitution after its promulgation.
